Nalanda: Bihar Rural Development Minister and JD(U) Legislature Party Leader Shravan Kumar distributed land pattas to 21 landless families under Abhiyan Basera-2 at the Ben block headquarters, providing each eligible family with three decimals of homestead land.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Shravan Kumar said the state government was committed to ensuring that every landless family gets land to build a home. He described the distribution of pattas as a significant step towards providing poor families with security, dignity and self-reliance.

He also urged beneficiaries to remain cautious of middlemen and said pattas were being distributed to eligible families through a transparent survey process.

He said former CM Nitish Kumar’s vision is to ensure that no family in Bihar remains landless. He also highlighted the government’s initiatives in infrastructure development, women’s empowerment and social welfare.

The pattas were distributed to beneficiaries from Eksara, Nohsa, Akauna and Maijra panchayats. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Minister and local administration for the initiative.
