Gorakhpur, March 26,2024: Goraksh Peethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated the essence of Sanatan Dharma, stating that grief and sorrow find no place within its teachings, but rather it fosters zeal and enthusiasm.
Addressing attendees at the ‘Lord Narasimha Shobha Yatra’ organized by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Shri Holikotsav Samiti during the festival of Holi, Yogi emphasized the inherent message of harmony embedded within the celebration. He underscored the principles of ‘Seh Astitva’, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’, and ‘Sarve Santu Niramaya’, fundamental to Sanatan Dharma, as exemplified by the festival of Holi.
Extending his Holi wishes to all citizens, Yogi described the festival as a vibrant expression of excitement and enthusiasm, reflecting the prosperity and happiness of society. He acknowledged the divine significance of Holi, especially in the wake of Lord Shri Ram Lalla’s reestablishment in his grand temple, urging people to celebrate with compassion and understanding.
Yogi commended the RSS for its longstanding tradition of organizing the Lord Narasimha Shobha Yatra for over 90 years, emphasizing its role in fostering an egalitarian and harmonious society. Following traditional customs, he conducted the aarti of Lord Narasimha and offered floral tributes, colors, and sweets.
Embracing the festive spirit, Yogi joined the crowd in exchanging flower petals and colorful powders, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and camaraderie amidst chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
