Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research Marks Convocation 2026 with Academic Splendour, 356 Graduates Awarded Degrees

Faridabad: Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences & Research, Faridabad, ceremoniously conducted its Convocation Ceremony on 14th February 2026 with great dignity, solemnity, and academic distinction. The occasion commemorated the academic accomplishments of the graduating cohorts from the BDS and MDS programs, signifying a momentous milestone in their professional and scholarly pursuits.
The ceremony was organized under the august leadership of Dharamvir Gupta (Chairman), Deepak Gupta (Trustee), Santosh Gupta (Trustee), Dr. Garima Gupta (Medical Director) Shanti Devi Memorial Hospital, Dr. C. M. Marya (Principal), and Dr. Vishal Juneja (CEO). The Chief Guest of the occasion was Vipul Goel, hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Government of Haryana, Special Guest of the program was Rajesh Nagar, Minister, Government of Haryana. Prof. (Dr.) H.K. Aggarwal, Vice -Chancellor, Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The ceremony commenced with the stately academic procession, followed by the traditional Saraswati Vandana and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, creating an atmosphere of grace and reverence. The occasion was honored by the presence of distinguished dignitaries, esteemed faculty members, proud parents, and enthusiastic students, all gathered to mark this significant milestone.

The Chairman Dharamvir Gupta, formally inaugurated the convocation and delivered the welcome address, reaffirming the institution’s steadfast commitment to excellence in dental education and healthcare services. He was followed by the Principal, Dr. C. M. Marya, who presented the College Report, eloquently outlining the institution’s academic growth, milestones, and distinguished achievements over the years.

In recognition of their esteemed presence, the distinguished guests were felicitated with commemorative mementos. During the convocation, around 356 students (73 postgraduates and 283 undergraduates) were conferred their degrees in a proud and emotional moment for both students and their families. The graduating students also took the Dental Oath, reaffirming their responsibility to serve society with integrity, care, and professionalism. The ceremony concluded with the Vote of Thanks and closing remarks by the Chairman, followed by the National Anthem.
