India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and East Rajasthan during the next seven days.

Additionally, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall is expected across Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, and West Rajasthan over the same period.

The Met Department has also issued a warning for isolated very heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today, with isolated heavy rainfall likely in these regions, as well as in Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh, until the 15th of this month. Furthermore, very heavy rainfall is anticipated at isolated locations in East Madhya Pradesh today.

In addition to these regions, the IMD has forecast light to moderate rainfall over East and Northeast India during the next seven days, which may impact agricultural activities and daily life in these areas. The department’s predictions suggest varying rainfall intensities across different parts of the country, with potential for localized flooding in areas experiencing very heavy rainfall.
