President has appointed Santosh Kumar Gangwar as the Governor of Jharkhand, and he has taken the oath of office

Former Union Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar took the oath as the new Governor of Jharkhand today. The ceremony took place at Rajbhavan in Ranchi, where the acting Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, Sujit Narayan Prasad, administered the oath of office and secrecy. Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with other senior dignitaries and officials, attended the event.

Gangwar, a seasoned politician, will now serve as the constitutional head of Jharkhand, succeeding Ramesh Bais. His appointment is expected to bring a new perspective to the state’s governance and administration. The ceremony also highlighted the smooth transition of power and the continued commitment of the state’s leadership to its development and welfare goals.
