IMSME of India nominated for ‘Most responsible business members organisation’ award

Faridabad, December 09, 2023– It is matter of proud for the industrial town Faridabad. This time again, it is Rajiv Chawla that has brought laurels to the city. One of the leading industrial organisations IamSME of India, the founder chairman of which is Rajiv Chawla, has been nominated as ‘Most responsible business members’ organisation award’. The award was given by SIDBI in a special function held at Delhi. S. Raman, CMD of financial institution SIDBI awarded this award to the institution. The award was nominated after an assessment of different organisations was done by a jury consisting of ‘foundation of MSME clusters, SIDBI and fried rich Noman foundation of South Asia on the basis of parameters set by the jury. The award was announced for the initiatives of ‘project mission 100’ and ‘mission 5X’ by IamSME of India.
During the crisis period of pandemic IamSME of India set a target of contributing 20,000 crores to GDP. In order to achieve the target set for its members, 100 small scale industries were set to achieve target of achieving a turnover of Rs.100 crores while 300 small scale industries were selected to grow by 5 times. A dedicated team was constituted to achieve the target that extended all help to the participating members regarding guidance and the facilities needed. The team also supported these units in getting new orders, steps needed to improve quality of goods, arranging loans for marketing, team building, getting subsidies released etc.
It is worth mentioning here that IamSME India, in the recent years has achieved remarkable milestones. The association has been organizing programs and training sessions that can be of help in growth of MSME sector. Projects like ‘Five X’ and ‘100 plus’ helped the association in gaining recognition all over the country. Even the state governments have started their own projects laid on the lines of the projects initiated by IamSME of India.
Rajiv Chawla, chairman IamSME of India attributed the success to all the stake holders associated with the organisation because it is their confidence and untired support that has made this award possible.
