Earthquake of 4.5 magnitude occurred in Maharashtra

Earthquake tremors were felt in the Nanded, Hingoli, and Parbhani districts of Maharashtra. The tremors occurred around 7:15 AM and had an epicentre located in Rameshwar Tanda village, Kalamnuri taluka, Hingoli district. The earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale. While the district administration has assured citizens that no damage has been reported, the historic fort at Peth Vadgaon in Hingoli district saw the collapse of its tower (Minar) due to the tremors. Similar earthquake tremors were also felt in this area on March 21st.
