Sirsa/Chandigarh, 21May, 2024– The General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee, member of the Congress Working Committee, former Union Minister, and Congress candidate from Sirsa Lok Sabha constituency (India alliance),Kumari Selja said that Priyanka Gandhi will hold a roadshow in Sirsa on May 23.

There was a high demand for Priyanka Gandhi to hold a program in Sirsa. She said that the roadshow will start at 8:30 am and the route will be decided soon. Addressing an election rally organized by Jasvir Singh Jassa at Pritam Palace on Hisar Road in Sirsa on Tuesday, Kumari Selja said that this election is against the wrong policies of Bjp. People themselves are fighting this election. She said that Bjp has no issues and has not done any development work, so they are talking nonsense.

They are bringing up Ram’s name in the elections. Everyone is a devotee of Lord Ram. Is Lord Ram their trademark? People will not be swayed by their words. Recently, an attempt was made to create an atmosphere of fear in the city by holding a bulldozer roadshow. But now people are neither afraid of them nor will they be misled by them. Kumari Selja said that during the 10-year rule of Bjp, the people of the country and the state have become fed up with the anti-people policies of the Bjp government. Selja said that during the 10-year tenure, the Bjp government has only troubled farmers, traders, the poor, laborers, women, and the unemployed.

As a result, there is widespread anger among the people across the country against Bjp, and people are leaning towards Congress and its supporting parties. Selja said that in the rallies organized by Bjp in Haryana, the Prime Minister did not talk about any work done by Bjp. How could he? The Bjp government did not do any such work that Modi could mention. Therefore, he relied only on lies and slogans. Kumari Selja said that after five phases of voting, it is clear that Bjp and Modi are going out of power, and Congress and the India alliance are coming in. She said that Bjp is bringing Ram into the elections, but people do not need a certificate from Modi or Bjp in the name of Ram, because Ram resides in our hearts.

Kumari Selja said that if Congress comes to power in the country, inflation will be controlled. One lakh rupees annually will be given to one woman in poor families. She said that apart from this, more than 30 lakh jobs will be given annually to eliminate unemployment, and the debts of poor individuals and farmers will also be waived. Kumari Selja said that the 5 Nyay and 25 guarantees promised by Rahul and Kharge on behalf of the Congress Party are enough to change the lives of every citizen. They will be implemented as soon as the government is formed after June 4. Women and men blessed Kumari Selja at the events. She recalled the old days while meeting people and said that when she and her father were MPs earlier, they did the most development work, and after winning again, the most development work will be done. Kumari Selja said that this election is not just the Congress’s election but also an election to save the Constitution and democracy.
