The Impressive TimesOn Thursday, a 16-year-old student from Nalanda, Bihar, who was getting ready for the Joint Entrance Examination (NEET) to go into undergraduate engineering programs, was discovered dead in Kota, the coaching center for Rajasthan.
The student was discovered hanging from the ceiling fan. Friends who were staying on the same floor repeatedly knocked on his door, but he didn’t answer. They later told the police and his younger brother, who is staying in a different Kota neighborhood but is likewise getting ready for the NEET.
