DAV Public School and Rotary Club Organize Successful Blood Donation and Mammography Camp
Community Comes Together for Blood Donation and Mammography Camp at DAV Public School
The Impressive TimesFaridabad , 21 October , 2024- With a noble initiative, the Management of DAV Public School, sec 14 Fbd., in collaboration with Rotary Club of Faridabad East and DAV Interact Club, Abhishti, organized a Blood donation and Mammography camp on Saturday, 19th October., 2024 in Senior building of the school, under the aegis of Principal Ms Anita Gautam
The opening ceremony of the camp began with ribbon cutting and Tilak of all the guests present. Among the guests present on the occasion were Rotarians H. L. Bhutani, Dalip Verma, Ajay Gupta, Ashu Laul, Deepak Thukral, Tarun Gupta, ND Nagpal and S. C Tyagi. Teacher Incharge of Interact club, Ms Taruna Arora was also present.
In the presence of a team of doctors and medical professionals, several volunteers donated blood including Parents, students and staff members. Head of the Institution, Ms Anita Gautam also donated for a noble cause. Besides, blood donation, total 22 Mammographies were also done on the day.
A certificate of appreciation and refreshment was given to all the donors as a token of gratitude. Total 111 unit of blood was collected as a successful endeavour. After the completion of the camp, Principal Ms Anita Gautam thanked and appreciated everyone for making the camp a grand success.
