DCP Crime Hemendra Kumar Meena returns 110 missing mobile phones to their rightful owners;

Faridabad , 7 September , 2024: Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Crime Hemendra Kumar Meena, the Cyber Cell has recovered 110 lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners.

DCP Crime stated that mobile phones often contain personal photos, videos, or other critical data. If such a phone falls into the hands of a criminal, they could misuse the data, potentially causing harm by making the personal information public. Therefore, it is essential to secure your phone with complex locks to prevent unauthorized access. In case your mobile phone is lost or stolen, report it on the CEIR Portal. The police will work to find and return your phone.

A police spokesperson stated that the Cyber Cell team used the CEIR portal to locate 110 missing mobile phones and return them to their owners, bringing smiles to their faces. The recipients expressed their happiness by clapping and thanking the police sincerely for their efforts. Many
appreciated the police department’s dedicated work.
