MoS Krishan Pal Gurjar to flag off Tiranga Yatra at Kanwara village: DC Vikram Singh

Faridabad , 10 August , 2024 : Paying tribute to India’s rich heritage and independence, DC Vikram Singh announced that Tiranga Yatra will be taken out from August 11 to August 15, 2024. The event will honour the spirit of freedom and unity that defines India’s Independence Day. The Tiranga Yatra will be attended by MPs, Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Sarpanches and residents of all the districts, who will display collective pride in the country’s independence. Union Minister of State for Cooperation Krishan Pal Gurjar will flag off the Tiranga Yatra as the chief guest. The event will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 9:30 am at Kanwara village. The Yatra will serve as a live prelude to the grand Independence Day celebrations to be celebrated on August 15, symbolising the country’s enduring spirit of patriotism and unity. The week-long event will culminate with various activities and commemorations that will showcase India’s journey since attaining independence in 1947 and celebrate the values ​​of freedom, democracy and national pride.
