PFWS Hosts Cancer Awareness Session at New Delhi’s Adarsh Auditorium

New Delhi, July 18 2024: The Police Family Welfare Society (PFWS) organized a comprehensive cancer awareness session at the Adarsh Auditorium, New PHQ, New Delhi, on July 18, 2024. The event featured a lecture and interactive discussion led by Sh. Anish Tripathi, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Epigeneres Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.

The session, aimed at enhancing cancer awareness among Delhi Police personnel and their families, was also broadcast live on the PFWS Facebook and YouTube channels. The event was attended by PFWS President Smt. Ritu Arora, senior PFWS officials, and other distinguished guests.

During his presentation, Sh. Anish Tripathi provided in-depth insights into the causes and symptoms of cancer, addressed the challenges faced by cancer survivors, and offered practical advice on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle choices to combat cancer. The session included an interactive Q&A segment where attendees had the opportunity to pose questions related to cancer and general health.

Over 400 police families attended the session in person, while more than 1,500 police personnel participated through web streaming and social media platforms. The informative session received positive feedback from participants, many of whom expressed interest in hosting similar events in the future.

In recognition of his contribution, PFWS President Smt. Ritu Arora presented mementoes to Sh. Anish Tripathi and his associate, Sh. Aman Gurwada, Sr. Vice President of Epigeneres Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. The presentation was made in the presence of DCP/Welfare, Sh. Kumar Gyanesh.

The event underscored the PFWS’s commitment to providing valuable health education and support to the police community and their families.
