Faridabad, 31 May, 2024 : In preparation for the upcoming vote counting on June 4, District Election Officer and DC Vikram Singh conducted an extensive inspection of all polling stations. This rigorous review involved detailed discussions with election officers and the issuance of critical guidelines to ensure a smooth counting process. Starting his inspection at the DAV School auditorium in Sector-14, Singh methodically evaluated all counting centers. He highlighted that the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency encompasses nine assembly segments, including three from the Palwal district. Specifically, BR Ambedkar College will handle the vote counting for Palwal’s three constituencies, while six other centers across Faridabad will manage the remaining constituencies. The designated counting centers for the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency include Punjabi Bhawan in Sector-16 for the Prithla Assembly, Lakhani Dharamshala for the Faridabad NIT constituency, Daulatram Khan Dharamshala for the Badkhal constituency, Sushma Swaraj Government Women College for the Ballabgarh constituency, and Gurjar Bhawan in Sector-16 for the Tigaon constituency. DC meticulously reviewed all logistical arrangements, from the entry of candidates to the seating of their agents within the counting centers. He confirmed that counting observers and micro observers will be actively present to ensure transparency and accuracy during the counting process. He also emphasized the importance of adhering to established guidelines and offered essential directives to the election officers. He assured the public that stringent security measures have been implemented at all counting centers. These measures will be maintained consistently to safeguard the integrity of the process. He stressed the prohibition of mobile phones, electronic devices, cigarettes, and tobacco within the counting centers, urging all counting agents to adhere strictly to these rules. On-duty employees were also reminded to comply fully with the regulations. Present during the inspections were ADC Dr. Anand Sharma, Zila Parishad CEO Satbir Mann, SDM Faridabad Shikha Antil, HSVP Estate Officer Siddharth Dahiya, SDM Badkhal Amit Mann, SDM Ballabhgarh Trilok Chand, and many other dignitaries.
