Patna, March 22.- On the Occasion of Bihar Day, several cleanliness awareness programs were organized at the Patna Municipal Corporation pavilion as part of the Bihar Utsav at Gandhi Maidan. Neetu Kumari Navgeet, the brand ambassador of the Patna Municipal Corporation’s cleanliness awareness campaign and a renowned folk singer of Bihar, performed various traditional folk songs. She called upon the residents of Patna to keep the city clean and actively participate in the cleanliness survey.
During the programs, she captivated the audience with folk songs and cleanliness-themed songs, including “Ae Bihar Ki Dharti, Tujh Par Jeevan Qurban Hai, Jis Dhara Par Humne Janm Liya, Wahi Hamara Maan Hai.”
Patna Municipal Corporation is continuously working to maintain cleanliness in the city. However, achieving complete cleanliness requires the cooperation of all citizens. She urged the people to improve lifestyle habits, such as avoiding the use of single-use plastic and icarry reusable bags while shopping.
She encouraged everyone to take a pledge not only to develop Bihar but also to make it clean and beautiful.Singer Rajesh Kesari also performed several songs and urged people to contribute to maintaining cleanliness.
