The Impressive TimesNew Delhi , 16 November , 2024- UNDERWATER SPORTS FEDERATION OF INDIA is organising The 4th National Finswimming Championship 2024 (In association with Physical Education Foundation India – PEFI recognized by Ministry of Youth Affair & Sports, Govt. Of India) started from 08:00 AM onwards on 14th till 17th November 2024, at Dr Syamya Prasad Mookherjeer Swimming pool complex, New Delhi.
Finswimming Team from different State of India & Territory is taking part in this 4th National Finswimming Championship 2024.
The organizer has arranged free food and accommodation for all the Finswimming participants & team members of different States who are taking part in this mega event.
The Secretary General of Underwater Sports Federation of India Dr. Tapan Kumar Panigrahi, Dronacharya Awadee along with his entire USFI team is available during the entire championship to guide & motivate the Finswimmers during this National Finswimming Championship 2024
Mr R K Singh – Technical Head, Mr Anil Deep Mahal – president , Lt Rehan Siddhiki from uttrakhand, Mr Kankan Panigrahi – General Secretary West Bengal, Mr Tom – general Secretary Pondicherry, Mr Narendra chouhan – General Secretary Uttar Pradesh, Mr Ranjit Chakraborty – President, Tripura, Mr Vijay Kumar – General Secretary from Tamilnadu & many more Exucative committee members from Underwater Sports Federation of India are involved in this National Championship.
Mr Achinta Kumar Pandit, Treasurer of Underwater Sports Federation of India informed that Mr D S Rana – Organising Secretary of 4th National Finswimming is doing his best for the grand success of the event & also is present during the event to promote the Finswimming event in India.

During the championship. Underwater Sports Association of Haryana is very thank full to NTPC for the support. Haryana team (Faridabad) has won many medals in the event as below, (1) Devansh Raj Julka in 200 mtrs BiFins Junior D : Bronze, (2) Harshika Julka in 200 mtrs BiFins Junior C : Silver, (3) Ishant in 200 mtrs BiFins Junior C : Silver, (4) Ishant in 50 mtrs Junior C Surface : Silver, (5) Mohini in 400 mtrs BiFins Junior B : Gold & (6) Himanshu in 800 mtrs BiFins Senior A : Silver. The vision of Underwater Sports Federation of India is to promote Finswimming Sports through the development of Athletes to help them achieve their fullest potential on their journey towards winning medals at the Championships and to implant the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork in our nation’s youth.
According to Mr Achinta Kumar Pandit, General Secretary of Underwater Sports Association of Haryana, Haryana Division & Treasurer Underwater Sports Federation of India “We are continuously working hard to reach our goals by building a strong foundation & focusing on talent identification by cautiously working towards increasing participation in the sport at the district level through our state units and also with various stake holders including schools, academies etc. for the long term development of athletes from junior to elite levels.”
