Mumbai– Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he hasn’t watched any of Rishab Shetty’s films, including the widely praised Kantara. However, it seems the film has made a significant impact at home – his daughter Shweta Bachchan reportedly watched the movie and was so moved that she struggled to sleep for several nights.
Rishab Shetty, riding high on the success of Kantara Chapter 1, appeared on the “Juniors Week” episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, where he shared the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan. During the episode, the conversation turned personal, with Rishab opening up about his journey in the film industry and his early life.
In a light-hearted moment, Rishab mentioned Amitabh’s tradition of writing letters to actors after watching their performances, expressing hope that one day the megastar might write one for him. Amitabh responded with a surprising confession, saying, “I must apologise for not having seen your films yet – you know how our schedules are. But my daughter Shweta saw Kantara, and she was blown away. She couldn’t sleep for days, especially after the last scene. She kept asking me how you got into that zone.”
The episode highlighted not just Rishab’s rising stardom but also Amitabh’s personal side as a father who shares his cinematic observations with his family.
