Spark Minda Wins 19th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge 2026, Beats Aaj Tak in Final at Faridabad

Faridabad, March 21, 2026: Spark Minda emerged as the champions of the 19th Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge 2026, defeating Aaj Tak by 49 runs in a high-scoring and thrilling final played at the Manav Rachna Cricket Ground.

Batting first, Spark Minda put up a formidable total of 311/9 in 20 overs. Ameya Singh led the charge with a brilliant 114 off just 39 balls, supported by Ankur Dhankar, who scored 107 off 43 balls. In response, Aaj Tak were bowled out for 262 in 19.4 overs despite a fighting 129-run innings by Kashif.

The tournament, which commenced in January and saw participation from several leading corporates such as Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, Sony India, Indian Oil, TCS, and Adidas, reflected a larger vision of collaboration between education and industry.

Highlighting the importance of sports in everyday life, the Chief Guest Gaurav Gautam, Minister of State Youth Empowerment & Entrepreneurship (IC) Sports (IC) Law & Legislative Department, Govt. of Haryana emphasized, “Sports have the power to bring balance and strength into our lives. Amid our daily responsibilities, sports help us stay strong and focused. Through such tournaments, we inspire people, connect with society, and show how life can be lived with discipline, positivity, and purpose,”

Speaking about the tournament’s legacy, “Over the years, the Manav Rachna Corporate Cricket Challenge has created a distinct legacy by connecting the corporate world through sports, where participation and sporting values have remained at its core,” said Sarkar Talwar, Director Sports, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions.

“This corporate cricket tournament reflects our belief that education and industry must work closely together with a shared purpose. When we align our efforts and move forward together, we can create real impact for society as a whole,” said Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI).

Reinforcing the guiding principle behind the initiative, “This tournament carries forward a vision started by Dr. O. P. Bhalla, bringing people together and strengthening connections through a shared experience,” said Dr. Amit Bhalla, Vice President, MREI.
