Delhi NCR, November 05: Like every year, the Diwali Milan program organised by the largest association of journalists City Press Club, the program was even better than the previous years. The program, organised at Milan Vatika Faridabad witnessed participation of political personalities from different political parties leaving behind the party line. Personalities from administration, police and other departments made it a point to be there in the program. People from education, industry and medical fraternity also took time to participate in the largest annual festival by any journalist association.
Commissioner of police Faridabad Rakesh Kumar Arya also visited the program and greeted everyone for a very happy and safe festival of lights. He appreciated the friendly and brotherly atmosphere in the program. He called upon the residents of Faridabad to celebrate the festival with full brotherhood and sanctity. He appreciated the overall environment of the city and the brotherhood among the citizens. He said that on this account, Faridabad is an exception has he has not seen such a friendly atmosphere in any other city. He appealed to people of the city to co-ordinate with the police for maintaining law and order situation in the city.
Jitendra Yadav, former DC of Faridabad and currently PS of union minister of sports Anurag Thakur also participated in the program. He also appreciated the initiative of city press club to invite people from all walks of life in this annual fest. He said that while he is borne and brought up in Gurugram, he has no hesitation in saying that it is the Faridabad city that he found full of warmth, togetherness and brotherhood. He said that he participated in the Holi Milan program organised by the city press club while he was the deputy commissioner of Faridabad. He congratulated the whole team of city press club for the grand celebration.
Political personalities that marked their presence in the program included Cabinet minister in Haryana Moolchand Sharma, MLA from Badkhal Seema Trikha, MLA Rajesh Nagar and MLA from Palwal Deepak Mangla. Everyone appreciated the effort of city press club under the able leadership of one of the seniors most journalists Bijender Bansal. Also present in the program was former political advisor to chief minister Ajay Gaur, former senior deputy mayor and son of Krishan Pal Gurjar union minister of state, Devendra Chaudhary, MLA from Congress Neeraj Sharma, Media Advisor to CM Haryana Rajiv Jaitley, former mayor Suman Bala, former senior deputy mayor Mukesh Shamra and others. Senior Swayam Sewak of RSS Ganga Shankar Mishr was also present in the program. While he appreciated the program organised by the largest association of journalists, he also distributed his book written on media to the present.
MLA from Faridabad Narendra Gupta not only participated in the program but also displayed his dancing skills on the dance floor along with the media persons. He also appreciated the initiative taken by the media persons by organising this Diwali Milan.
