Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh: On the historic occasion of the inauguration of the first phase of the Noida International Airport, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gautam Buddh Nagar on Saturday, marking a major milestone in India’s aviation and infrastructure development.
The Prime Minister was warmly received by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who extended a heartfelt welcome and felicitated him upon his arrival.

The inauguration of Phase-I of the Noida International Airport is being viewed as a transformative step for the region, aimed at enhancing air connectivity, boosting trade and tourism, and accelerating economic growth in Uttar Pradesh and the National Capital Region (NCR). The airport is expected to emerge as a key aviation hub, reducing congestion at existing airports and improving passenger and cargo movement.

Officials stated that the project will also generate significant employment opportunities and attract global investments, strengthening India’s position in the international aviation sector.
Several senior officials, public representatives, and stakeholders were present during the event, highlighting the importance of the project in shaping the future of regional infrastructure and development.
