Doctors explain that the condition involves complex hormonal and metabolic changes that make weight management far more challenging than usual.
According to specialists, PCOS is not simply a lifestyle issue linked to overeating or inactivity. Instead, it is a hormonal disorder that can affect how the body processes insulin, regulates metabolism, and stores fat. Because of these underlying biological factors, many women find that standard weight-loss advice produces little or no results.
