NEW DELHI, 30 JUNE: In a significant move to digitally empower India’s youth, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Digital India Corporation (DIC) under the Ministry of Electronics and IT for the development of MY Bharat 2.0, an upgraded national youth platform. The MoU was signed in New Delhi in the presence of Union Ministers Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The upgraded MY Bharat 2.0 will act as a comprehensive, single-window digital ecosystem offering career-building opportunities, civic engagement, and skill development. With over 1.75 crore youth already onboard, the platform will now feature a modular architecture, enhanced user experience, AI-powered tools like Smart CV Builder, voice-assisted navigation, geo-tagged opportunity discovery, and integration with Aadhaar, DigiLocker, and MyGov.

Dr. Mandaviya said the initiative is aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering youth through Seva Bhav and Kartavya Bodh. “MY Bharat is not just a digital tool, it is a movement,” he noted, adding that the platform will anchor the youth’s aspirations to the mission of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Union Minister Vaishnaw emphasized the transformative impact of digital initiatives in youth-led development, highlighting the India Semiconductor Mission and India AI Mission, which are empowering students with advanced technologies like AI and chip design. He announced the expansion of Global Capability Centres to Tier-2 cities to ensure inclusive technological growth.

The upgraded platform will also introduce mobile apps for Android and iOS, integrated dashboards for event tracking, and support features like call centres, MIS tools, training modules, and SMS/email services. A Mentorship Hub, Fit India section, and National Career Services will further bolster youth development.
Launched in October 2023, MY Bharat currently engages over 1.76 crore youth and 1.19 lakh organisations. With MY Bharat 2.0, India aims to convert its demographic dividend into a developmental force, building a digitally empowered and civically engaged generation ready for the future.
