New Delhi: Haryana Women’s Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia attended the International Women’s Day program organized by the Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM). The event, dedicated to celebrating the achievements and contributions of women across various sectors, was marked by enthusiasm and a spirit of empowerment.
Renu Bhatia inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp and extended her heartfelt congratulations to all women on this special occasion. She emphasized that Women’s Day is not limited to just one day but should be celebrated every day. She stated that when a woman progresses, the entire family, society, and nation move forward together. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Mamta Rohit, Executive Director, PRRDA; Bhumika Verma, Director, Expenditure Department, Ministry of Finance; women officials and employees from the Finance Ministry, as well as the women staff of AJNIFM. Their presence underscored the significance of collective efforts in fostering women’s empowerment at all levels of governance and professional domains.
A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, where 11 distinguished women were honored for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields.
