Haryana CM Approves Improvement of 9 ODR Roads in Karnal District worth more than Rs. 10.59 crore

Chandigarh, July 9 – Haryana’s Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh, has approved administrative funding for the special repair and enhancement of nine ODR roads in Karnal District. The project, valued at over Rs. 10.59 crore, aims to improve crucial routes connecting rural production areas to market centers, tehsil headquarters, block development headquarters, and railway stations.

According to an official spokesperson, the planned projects include widening and strengthening activities across various stretches:

  • Karnal-Kaithal road to village Pingli Narukheri (4.151 km, Rs. 1.04 crore)
  • Village Kachhwa to Dera Purbian road (2.250 km, Rs. 1.24 crore)
  • Village Shahpur to village Kalampur road (1.650 km, Rs. 85.22 lakh)
  • Strengthening village Dabri Kalampur approach road (more than Rs. 1.58 crore)
  • Village Kalampur to Kachhwa road (3.400 km, Rs. 95.91 lakh)
  • Widening and strengthening village Kachhwa to village Zarifabad road (4.320 km, Rs. 2.19 crore)
  • Village Gogripur to Pingli road (2.300 km, Rs. 1.13 crore)
  • Village Kachhwa to Behlolpur road (4.100 km, Rs. 1.34 crore)
  • Karnal-Kachhwa-Sambli-Kaul to Pundark road (1.100 km, Rs. 22.78 lakh)

These improvements are expected to significantly enhance connectivity and accessibility across Karnal District’s rural areas.
