Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], July 4 : On the 111th birth anniversary of Maharashtra’s former Chief Minister, Late Vasantrao Naik, and Krishi Din, Dr. Bhagyashree Prasad Patil, Managing Director of Rise N Shine Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Pune, was awarded the prestigious ‘Vasantrao Naik Award’ by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. This honor, presented on behalf of the Vasantrao Naik Agricultural Research and Rural Development Foundation, recognizes Dr. Patil’s significant contributions to modern floriculture.
The award ceremony, held at Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Mumbai, was graced by the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde, and special guest Dr. Prashant Kumar Gulabrao Patil, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, among other dignitaries. The Foundation’s Chairman, Dr. Rajendra Barwale, who also serves as the President of Vasantrao Naik Krushi Sanshodhan and Gramin Vikas Pratishtan, Mumbai, welcomed the dignitaries and introduced the program.
Chief Minister Shinde praised Dr. Bhagyashree Patil for her innovative contributions to agriculture, stating, “The experimental and innovative ideas of Dr. Bhagyashree Patil have given a new direction to the farmers of Maharashtra. Her work has ushered in a new era in agriculture.” He emphasized the importance of innovation in the agricultural sector, highlighting Dr. Patil as an inspirational example. “Using new ideas in agriculture is the need of the day, and Dr. Bhagyashree Patil has proven that with the right approach and hard work, significant gains can be achieved,” he added.
