Prince Harry doesn’t feel Meghan Markle, kids safe in UK, constantly reminded of Diana’s death: Royal Family experts

Prince Harry’s reluctance to bring his children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK is influenced by concerns over their safety due to the lack of police protection. After stepping down as a working royal in 2020, Harry lost taxpayer-funded security, a decision he is now challenging in court. During a GB News podcast, Cameron Walker and Digital Editor Svar Nanan-Sen discussed Harry’s fears, emphasizing how important security is to him and Meghan.

Walker highlighted Meghan’s emotional account in their Netflix documentary about her fears for their family’s safety, which involves meticulous security measures at their Montecito home. Harry’s ongoing legal battles underscore the seriousness with which he regards their protection. Nanan-Sen suggested that Harry’s court efforts indicate plans for more frequent UK visits with his family, reflecting the significance he places on their safety.

Walker also linked Harry’s concerns to the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997. Diana’s choice to forego police protection when she died in a car crash has deeply affected Harry, contributing to his anxiety about his family’s security in the UK.
