DAV Public School NTPC Faridabad organised Champions Honor Ceremony.

Faridabad , 18 Feburary , 2024 : Champions Honour Ceremony was organized at DAV Public School NTPC Faridabad on 15th May 2024 in the auditorium of NTPC Gas Power Plant. On this occasion winners of D.A.V National Sports, S.G.FI and CBSE games were felicitated. The dignitaries included Mr. V. Venkatesh (G.M. Finance NTPC Gas Power Plant Faridabad), Mr. Nishant Garg (AGM O&M NTPC Gas Power Plant Faridabad), Mr. Aditya Narayan Srivastava (A.G.M. NTPC Gas Power Plant Faridabad), Shri Pankaj Arora (AGM HR NTPC Gas Power Plant Faridabad), Mrs. Mithali (DGM HR NTPC Gas Power Plant Faridabad)

In the session-2023-24 Students showcased their sporting skills in various games at cluster level, zonal level and national level and obtained gold, silver and bronze medals.
NTPC officials present at the ceremony appreciated the students on their commendable achievements at all the levels and acknowledged the efforts of the school in providing quality education alongwith special focus on skill development in order to provide ample opportunities for holistic development of their students. They motivated the young achievers to continue with their success saga in future events too.

At the cluster level, 85 students of the school got gold medals, 27 students got silver medals and 3got bronze medals. At the state level, 26 students got gold medals, 12 students got silver medals and 6 students got bronze medals. At the national level, 7 students got gold medal,1 student won silver medal and 6 students won bronze medal.

Students of the school won Kho-Kho U-19 Winner Trophy, Karate U-17 (Boys) Runner-up Trophy, Karate U-19 (Boys) Runner-up Trophy, Karate U-19 (Girls) Winner Trophy, Taekwondo U-19 at the State level (Boys) brought glory to the school by displaying their excellent talent and winning the Overall Winner Trophy.It was really a thrilling moment for the audience who beholded the view of exemplary talent.
The students also proved their mettle by winning medals at SGFI state level, Nikita U-19 won bronze medal in Karate and Vaidehi Gupta U-14 won bronze medal in Taekwondo. Vansh U-19 won bronze medal in Discus Throw at national level in CBSE Games.
Deepanshu Kapasia, Lakshya, Vansh, Abhay, Vadhai Gupta, Kunal Nagar, Madho Singh, who showcased their special talent in DAV National Sports and were honored with a prize money of Rs 5100 by DAV CMC.
The program of the felicitation ceremony was concluded with a mesmerizing cultural dance. The Principal of the school, Mrs. Alka Arora expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the honorable guests for felicitating and motivating the students to work hard and to tread on the path of success.
