NEW DELHI, July 1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended warm greetings to doctors across the country on the occasion of National Doctors’ Day and expressed gratitude for their dedication, compassion and unwavering service towards society.
The Prime Minister said that doctors remain the backbone of India’s healthcare system, with their commitment and tireless efforts earning the trust and appreciation of millions of citizens. He highlighted that medical professionals continue to serve people with sincerity, often working under challenging circumstances and putting the welfare of patients above all else.
Prime Minister Modi praised the contribution of doctors in strengthening healthcare delivery across the nation. He said that over the past decade, India has witnessed remarkable progress in building a stronger and more accessible healthcare ecosystem.
