Maharashtra Government's firm commitment to secure reservations for the Maratha Community underlines decisive actions & empowerment initiatives

Mumbai, November 5 – The Maharashtra state government, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has reaffirmed its dedication to securing reservation for the Maratha community. In a press conference held on Saturday, a Shiv Sena spokesperson emphasized the government’s resolute efforts to ensure Maratha community members receive rightful reservations within the framework of the Constitution and the law.

Decisive Action Beyond Committees: The government is taking decisive action, going beyond the mere formation of committees and record collection, and is committed to reviewing the progress of the retired Justice Sandeep Shinde Committee on a weekly basis.

Empowering Maratha Entrepreneurs: Chief Minister Shinde has also issued directives to increase loan allocations for Maratha community entrepreneurs, with a specific focus on empowering women entrepreneurs within the Maratha community.

Positive Developments: In a noteworthy development, Ministers Sandipan Bhumre and Anil Save met with Manoj Jarange-Patil, providing him with a copy of the new Government Resolution (GR). Jarange-Patil expressed satisfaction with the latest developments, underlining the government’s proactive stance towards resolving the issue of Maratha community reservations.
