MATHURA, 27 November 23 : To commemorate the 525th birth anniversary of Mirabai, a devotee of Shri Krishna, UP Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad organised a two-day seminar under Braj Raj Utsav-2023. A national seminar organised at Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the presence of Mathura MP Hema Malini. MP Hema Malini and UP Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad CEO Nagendra Pratap presented a memento of Mirabai to the learned speakers present.The first day was presided over by Shailjakant Mishra, Vice Chairman of UP Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad. Expressing her views regarding the celebration of Mirabai’s 525th birth anniversary, MP Hema Malini said that Mirabai lived in Vrindavan for 15 years, but she did not get much fame. Now Mirabai programs will be organized throughout the year.Second day the seminar was presided over by R D Paliwal, President of Vrindavan Research Institute. CEO of Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad Nagendra Pratap, honored all the speakers by presenting them with the symbol of Meerabai.The speakers threw light on Mirabai’s life journey from her early life place Mewar to Vrindavan, her devotion, sadhana, composition of her verses and various points of her life. Deputy CEO of Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad J P Pandey,Technical Advisor R K Jaiswal, Environmental Advisor Mukesh Sharma, Assistant Engineer R P Yadav, Braj Culture Expert Dr. Umesh Chandra Sharma,Director of Geeta Shodh Sansthan Dinesh Khanna and Coordinator Chandra Pratap Singh Sikarwar took over the arrangements.
