Greater Noida Authority Launches ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Drive in Ecotech-III

ACEO Saumya Srivastava urges residents to plant and nurture at least one tree as Authority, industry body undertake plantation campaign

Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), in association with the Industrial Business Association, carried out a plantation drive in Ecotech-III under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign on Friday. GNIDA Additional CEO Saumya Srivastava, accompanied by his wife Surbhi Srivastava, planted saplings along the roadside. Additional CEOs Srilakshmi VS and Sumit Yadav, OSD Archana Dwivedi, DGM (Horticulture) S.K. Jain, and Senior Manager Ajit Bhai Patel also participated in the drive. Saplings of Peepal, Neem and Amaltas were planted.

Addressing the gathering, Saumya Srivastava appealed to residents to join the large-scale plantation campaign by planting at least one tree and ensuring its proper care. The programme was attended by Manager Prashant Samadhiya, Assistant Manager Gaurav Baghel, Industrial Business Association President Amit Upadhyay, Vice-President Dr Khushboo Singh, Sunil Dutt, Rakesh Agrawal, Naresh Chauhan, S.K. Sharma, Sudhir Tyagi, and other association members.
