Faridabad, 11 December 2023- An impactful session was organised under the guidance of CP Rakesh Kumar Arya and DCP Traffic Amit Yashvardhan with a team comprising Traffic Police TI Inspector Satish Kumar and SHO Surendra Singh, in-charge of Community Policing in Faridabad at Government Senior Secondary School Ajrauda, Faridabad.
The focus was on raising awareness about the Dial 112 App, cybercrimes, and crimes against women. School Principal Poonam Taneja Tejpal, along with Arnad Kumar, Deepti Dagar, Pramod, and the entire school staff and approx 250 student body were participated. Inspector Satish Kumar emphasized road safety and traffic rules, advising drivers to exercise caution.
He stressed the importance of looking both ways before crossing the road and avoiding red light violations. He also provided guidance on adhering to speed limits, staying in the designated lane, wearing helmets for two-wheeler riders, and using seat belts while driving. Additionally, he cautioned against using phones or playing loud music while driving. He also urged individuals to dial 112 in case of an accident. SHO Surendra Singh encouraged women and girls to install the Dial 112 app for added safety. For reporting cybercrimes, the audience was informed to contact 1930, and for child helpline services, they were advised to call 1098. Detailed information about www.ncpcr.gov.in and www.cybercrime.gov.in was also shared during the session.
