Faridabad , 2 May , 2024 : Etiquette is good manners. It means how we present ourselves when we meet and great people so that each one is comfortable- said Mr. JP Malhotra President DLF Industries Association giving the opening remarks at the training organized on 30th April 2024 @TAP DC Conference Hall on the Topic Organisation Culture of Etiquette.
It is the way we talk, way we dress and move in a group in most courteous manner. As a matter of fact, etiquette is just your conduct, care and consideration for the society. It is being honest, humble and hands on. Expression of gratitude, Being punctual, Respecting women & senior citizens and offering compliments are the basic tenants of etiquette – said Mr. JP Malhotra. The Trainer of the day Ms. Geeta Ranga, Wellness Coach and Mentor gave elaborate list of Do’s & Don’t, Good & Bad, OK and Not OK besides- best etiquette practices. It does not cost you to behave in an appropriate manner. Explaining basic rules of social etiquette , Ms. Geeta Ranga explained in details of what needs to be practiced in a social & civil society more so by Apprentices & Supervisors who are stepping into outside world Say Thank you, offer Compliments, Actively Listen, Speak with caution, Be punctual, Make Eye Contact, Stand during Introduction, offer your seat, Hold the door open for facilitating someone to enter, Taking gift appropriate to the occasion (may not be heavily priced) , playing your share in a group activity are some basic points we need to understand & follow day in day out, at all times and everywhere – explained the trainer.
Communication etiquettes are equally important- so are the business etiquettes. Do not have to be casual in your approach Last but not the least – stand straight, make eye contact, turn towards people when they are speaking and genuinely smile at people – remarked Ms. Geeta Ranga. The training was organized by DLFIA STRIVE Industry Cluster as a part of capacity development Programme and creating an skill ecosystem as envigased by Govt. of Haryana Deptt. Of Skill and Industrial Training under the guidance of Sh. Sanjeev Sharma Addl. Director Govt. Of Haryana ,Panchkula and supported by Member of Governing Council of DLFIA IC. Mr. Bhupinder Singh General Secretary DLFIA thanked all the participants for properly attending the Training and advised the participants to follow each and every advice given to them doing such training. Due to painstaking efforts of AIC cell headed by Ms. Neha, A total of 30 participants from M/s. Advance Forging Pvt. Ltd, Akshay Aluminium Alloys LLP, Rex Consolidated, Bhartiya Valves Pvt. Ltd, Gautam Engineers, Dew Electronics, Panorama Export, Jay Pee Knit Fab, Forgewell Ltd, Himalaya Wellness, Mohan Overseas Pvt. Ltd., S.K Dyeing & Finishing Mills Pvt. Ltd, Besoto Starting System Pvt. Ltd, Color Fabs Pvt. Ltd, Dustech Engineers Pvt. Ltd, Indian Packaging Machineries, Jiva Designs Pvt. Ltd, Macas Automotive, Neumann Engineers Pvt. Ltd, Svojas Fashion and Multicolour Services attended the Training so nicely conducted by the learned trainer. A 17 pages booklet specially prepared was given to each participant as reference reading material.
