The White House has stated that US President Joe Biden is committed to attending the annual leadership summit of the Quad countries, scheduled to be held in India this year. White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby informed reporters in Washington that, although President Biden is not running for reelection, his schedule will still accommodate important events like this summit.
India is set to host the Quad leadership summit this year. The Quad, which includes Australia, Japan, India, and the US, has been holding annual summits on a rotational basis since President Biden convened a virtual summit of the Quad countries in his first 100 days in office in 2020.
