New Delhi, 30 November 23- Delhi Police Public School, Safdarjung Enclave celebrated its XXVIII Annual Day with grandeur and enthusiasm. The event, graced by esteemed guests, marked a red-letter day in the school’s history.
The distinguished gathering included the Chief Guest, Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police (Delhi), along with other notable personalities such as Smt. Ritu Arora, President PFWS, Sh. Dependra Pathak, Special Commissioner of Police, Law and Order Zone I, and Smt. Geeta Pathak, PFWS.
The festivities commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting, seeking the blessings of the Almighty. A highlight of the event was the awe-inspiring performance by the school’s little yogis, showcasing their remarkable agility and finesse in executing even the most intricate asanas.
Following this, the Prefectorial Board presented the School Annual Report, offering insights into the students’ achievements across various fields throughout the year.
The crowning glory of the celebration was ‘Yugdrishta,’ a musical ode to Krishna, one of the most sacred incarnations of Lord Vishnu. This soul-stirring performance captivated the audience, leading them on a mystical journey of self-exploration and righteousness.
The day concluded with a vote of thanks by the Headmistress, Ms. Vaibhavi Kulkarni, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries and attendees. Sudarshani, an activity display showcasing the nimble fingers of the students, added a final touch of creativity to the event.
“Being cognizant of the role education plays in shaping the lives of our students, we ensure that our children not only acquire knowledge from our institution but also learn life skills, imbibe values, and become worthy members of their community,” said the beaming Principal, Ms. Ruby Malhotra.
