Assam’s Laokhowa Sanctuary, authorities have reported that two suspected poachers were shot dead

According to police reports, the incident occurred between 1 am and 1:30 am when a group of 15 poachers entered the Charaihagi forest camp area within the Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary. During the early hours of Saturday, forest guards in Assam’s Nagaon district fatally shot two individuals suspected of poaching.
