Rajasthan Pavilion shines bright at 42nd IITF

New Delhi, 27 November 23- The 42nd India International Trade Fair- 2023 concluded on 27 November,23 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, marking the end of the fourteen-day event. In a glittering award ceremony held to commemorate the occasion, Rajasthan was honored with the prestigious Bronze Medal for its outstanding showcase. On the behalf of Rajasthan, Pavilion Director Dinesh Sethi received the award by Pradeep Kharola, CMD of ITPO. This year, the Rajasthan Pavilion underwent a remarkable transformation, featuring a fresh and captivating look that highlighted the state’s art, culture, handicrafts, tourism, and industrialization. Pavilion drew the attention of millions, resulting in a business turnover of over Rs. 75 lakhs through it. Bestsellers included Jaipuri quilts and Rajasthani handicrafts. The exhibition also featured models of electric scooters and windmills, adding a special attraction. Foreign diplomats admired the pavilion’s theme, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, Unity through Business,” praising Rajasthan’s rich art, culture, and handicrafts. Participating alongside renowned companies, government departments from across the country, central government agencies, and international entities, Rajasthan stood out for its exemplary display.

Dr. Manisha Arora, the Director of Rajasthan’s Management, shared the state’s achievements in industrialization, exports, green energy utilization, employment generation, women empowerment, and millets production with visitors from India and abroad. Dr. Arora emphasized that the exhibition presented the state’s achievements in various sectors to visitors from around the world. Director Sethi expressed that the exhibition provided global exposure and sustainable business opportunities for Rajasthan’s craftsmen and small-scale entrepreneurs. The ceremony was attended by Shivram Meena, Information and Public Relations Officer of the Rajasthan government, Pavilion Manager R. J. Ghai and many other dignitaries.
