Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Joins ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ Marking PM Narendra Modi Ji’s 25 Years of Public Service and Nation-Building

India moving towards realising the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ with the participation of 140 crore Indians: Chief Minister Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, 7 October 2026 : A ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ was organised at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday to mark Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji completing 25 years in public life. On the occasion, BJP national president Nitin Nabin flagged off the Seva Jyoti Yatra for the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency. Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta also joined the programme and the yatra, marching with the ‘Seva Jyoti’ torch in her hand.

The Chief Minister said the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s public life is an important occasion for the country. His public journey over the past 25 years has remained rooted in continuous public service and a sense of duty towards the nation. His commitment to working tirelessly and his resolve to build a developed India are a matter of inspiration for all of us. The Prime Minister has made serving the country with a ‘nation first’ spirit his core mission. At different stages of his public life, several initiatives and decisions have been taken in areas including public welfare, infrastructure development, digital transformation, good governance and matters related to national interest. These efforts have been aimed at accelerating the country’s development and making the lives of citizens easier.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said the Prime Minister has placed before the country a broad vision of ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’, and the country is moving towards realising it through the participation and collective efforts of 140 crore Indians. Alongside the goal of a developed India, Delhi is also taking forward its resolve of a ‘Viksit Delhi’. Wishing the Prime Minister good health and a long life, she said the journey of national development and public service should continue uninterrupted. She said the participation of every citizen is essential to taking the country towards the goal of a developed India under the Prime Minister’s leadership.

A large number of party workers and citizens participated in the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’. Union Minister of State and Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra, Delhi Government Cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, party office-bearers and a large number of workers were present at the programme.
