Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha: Samrat Choudhary Flags Off Seva Jyoti Yatra

The country is moving towards the goal of a Developed India with significant progress in development and public welfare under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi: Chief Minister

Patna- Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inaugurated the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ and ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ held at the Miller High School Ground in Patna on Wednesday by lighting the ceremonial lamp. On the occasion, he also lit the torch and flagged off the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the day was important in the direction of fulfilling the resolve of Viksit Bharat. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister  Narendra Modi, the country has made significant progress in the areas of development and public welfare over the past 12 years and is moving towards the goal of Viksit Bharat.

He said that for India to become a developed nation by 2047, it is necessary for Bihar to become prosperous and strong.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for 13 years and has been continuously serving the country as its Prime Minister. He has taken several important decisions to take the country forward with the spirit of ‘Nation First’.

He said that approximately 89 lakh farmers in Bihar are benefiting from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. An amount has been transferred to the bank accounts of 1 crore 81 lakh JEEViKA Didis in Bihar, enabling women to move towards self-employment and self-reliance. He said that 50 lakh Lakhpati Didis have already been created in Bihar. A target has been set to make one lakh women Lakhpati Didis in Bihar before the 2030 Assembly elections.

He said that several schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal, PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, assistance for farmers and the development of infrastructure, have brought positive changes to the lives of ordinary people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President  Nitin Nabin also addressed the programme virtually. BJP State President  Sanjay Saraogi administered the pledge to those present to realise the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.

Thereafter, the  Chief Minister inaugurated the ‘Modi @ 25’ exhibition, based on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service, at the BJP State Office by cutting the ribbon and lighting the ceremonial lamp. The exhibition showcases, through photographs, the important decisions taken and public welfare schemes implemented during  Narendra Modi’s 13-year tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat and his 12 years as Prime Minister of India.
On the occasion,  Rupnarayan Mehta, Chairman of the Bihar State Farmers Commission, welcomed  Chief Minister  Samrat Choudhary by presenting him with a plant, angavastram and a memento.

Those present at the programme included Urban Development and Housing Minister Nitish Mishra; MPs Ravi Shankar Prasad and  Bhim Singh; BJP State President and MLA Sanjay Saraogi; MLA Sanjiv Chaurasia; BJP General Secretary (Organisation)  Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya; BJP National Secretary  Siddharth Shambhu; Bihar State Farmers Commission Chairman Rupnarayan Mehta, along with a large number of party leaders and workers.
