Faridabad- Faridabad Model School (FMS), Sector 31, in association with Rotary Club Aastha Faridabad, organised a Swachhata Seva Campaign to promote cleanliness, civic responsibility and environmental awareness among students and the community.
The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from FMS students, Interactors of Jiva Public School and members of Rotary Club Aastha Faridabad. Participants came together with a shared commitment to keeping their surroundings clean and contributing towards a healthier and more hygienic community.
As part of the initiative, Rotarians, teachers and students took the Swachhata Oath, pledging to maintain cleanliness, avoid littering and encourage others to adopt responsible civic habits. The campaign also helped students understand that cleanliness is not solely the responsibility of civic authorities but a collective duty of every citizen.
The cleanliness drive and Shramdaan activities were conducted across Spring Field, IP Colony, Sector 28, Sector 29, Sector 30 and Sector 31 in Faridabad. Students and volunteers actively participated in cleaning public spaces and spreading awareness about the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic surroundings.
The campaign received active support from Rtn. Umang Malik and Mrs. Shreya Malik, Rtn. Vidit Mittal, Rtn. Neeraj Bhutani, Rtn. Gautam Malhotra, Rtn. Aditya Chaudhary, Rtn. Prateek Gupta, Mrs. Ruchi Gupta, Mrs. Aanchal Kalra, Mrs. Shilpi Arya, Mrs. Garima Goyal, Mrs. Neha Jindal, Mrs. Richa Bhatia, Mrs. Divya Gupta and FMS Principal Nivedita Chatterjee.
The organisers encouraged students to participate wholeheartedly and become ambassadors of cleanliness not only in their schools but also in their homes and communities.
The initiative reflected the spirit of “Swachhata Se Seva”, highlighting the importance of selfless service, civic responsibility and collective action in creating a cleaner and greener society. The active participation of students made the campaign a meaningful step towards nurturing responsible and socially conscious citizens.
