Palwal Police Impound Two Vehicles, Issue ₹35,000 Challan Over Road-Hooliganism

SP Deepti Garg warns against stunts, traffic violations and creating public nuisance on roads and social media

Palwal: Palwal Police has taken action against two vehicles allegedly involved in a road-hooliganism incident near the Baghaula flyover, where some youths were reportedly seen getting out of their vehicles and throwing pamphlets while violating traffic and other rules. Taking cognisance of the incident, Palwal SP Deepti Garg (IPS) directed officials to initiate prompt action against those involved. Gadpuri police station in-charge Sub-Inspector Kuldeep Singh said police identified the two vehicles and issued challans amounting to around ₹35,000 before impounding them.

Following the police action, the youths involved acknowledged their mistake and appealed to other youngsters in the district to avoid stunts, reckless driving and similar acts. Deepti Garg said roads were meant for the safety and movement of the general public and not for creating nuisance or displaying hooliganism.
She warned that Palwal Police would not tolerate acts of mischief, stunts or reckless behaviour in the district. The police said it would follow a zero-tolerance approach towards people who perform stunts by hanging out of vehicles in public places or for social-media reels, obstruct traffic or attempt to create fear. Violators may face heavy fines, while vehicles may be impounded and recommendations made for cancellation of driving licences, as per applicable rules.

The district police also appealed to parents to monitor their children’s activities and counsel them against reckless acts, warning that such behaviour could have serious consequences for their future.
