Faridabad: The Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Society organised the Sai Dham Gyan Purskar 2026 at Sai Dham to honour educators for their outstanding contribution to the field of education. The event was held to mark the birth anniversary of late Kanta Gupta, Co-Founder of Sai Dham. The programme was attended by Faridabad Dy Commissioner Ayush Sinha, IAS, as the chief guest. Sai Dham founder Dr Motilal Gupta, Chairman Sandeep Gupta, Vice-Chairperson Poonam Gupta, Trustee Rohit J. Jain, General Secretary Pradeep Singhal, District Education Officer Anshu Singla, Aradhana Sinha and Principal Dr Beenu Sharma jointly inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Students also presented a Guru Vandana. Educators honoured with the Sai Dham Gyan Purskar 2026 included Anshu Singla, District Education Officer; Develina Chakraborty, Principal, Shiv Nadar School; Geetika Mehta, Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad; Gurpal Gaba, Modern Delhi International School; Priyanka Sharma, Surajkund International School; Anandita Rai, Modern School; Mohini Tiwari, Aggarwal Public School; Monika Rawal, AVN School; Deepshikha Bhatia, DAV Gyan Prakash Chopra Public School; and Vibha, Shri Sai Baba School. K.A. Pillai was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his long-standing and distinguished contribution to Sai Dham. Students presented a dance-drama based on Guru Dronacharya and Eklavya, highlighting the values of the guru-shishya tradition, dedication and discipline. A role-play on ‘Save Ganga’ conveyed a message on environmental conservation, while performances dedicated to women and a thank-you dance added to the programme. Addressing the gathering, DC Ayush Sinha said teachers do more than impart academic knowledge, as they play a vital role in shaping students’ personalities, values and future. He encouraged students to keep learning, maintain discipline and become responsible members of society. The event was attended by members of the Sai Dham Advisory Board, educators, teachers and other dignitaries. The programme was conducted by Azad Shivam Dixit, while Sandeep Singhal proposed the vote of thanks.
