Victora Prerna Park-2 Inaugurated in Sector-58 in Memory of Late Harjinder Kaur Banga, Mother of Industrialists S.S. Banga and H.S. Banga

S.S. Banga and H.S. Banga launch green and health initiatives with 300 saplings and a second health service vehicle

DELHI/NCR: Victora Prerna Park-2 was inaugurated in Sector-58 on Tuesday in memory of late Harjinder Kaur Banga, mother of industrialists S.S. Banga and H.S. Banga, on her second death anniversary. The programme featured a plantation drive under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, with 300 saplings planted at the park. A health check-up camp was also organised, benefiting around 500 people with medical examinations and consultations. A second health service vehicle was launched to provide medical services in remote settlements and nearby villages.

Faridabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Yashendra Singh attended the programme as the chief guest. RSS Regional Contact Chief Krishna Singhal, Skill University, Palwal Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar, J.C. Bose University Registrar Prof. Ajay Ranga and Community College of Skill Development Principal Prof. Sanjeev Goyal were present as special guests.

Victora Group founder Gambhir Singh Banga, Victora Industries Managing Director S.S. Banga, Director Satvir Singh Banga and Victora Technologies Managing Director Hardeep Singh Banga formally opened the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp and paying floral tributes.

S.S. Banga said 300 saplings were planted at Prerna Park-2, following 200 at Prerna Park-1 last year, as part of a long-term environmental initiative. He also highlighted the group’s tree ambulance and floral waste collection drives, which have diverted nearly 20 tonnes of waste from landfills and water bodies. Hardeep Singh Banga said the second health service vehicle would expand medical outreach to villages and underserved areas.

Municipal Commissioner Yashendra Singh stressed public participation and tree protection, while Prof. Dinesh Kumar, Prof. Ajay Ranga and Krishna Singhal highlighted the importance of youth involvement, environmental conservation and social responsibility.

The Victora L.I.F.E. Foundation also honoured Dharam Singh Dagar, former president of the Jhadsentli RWA, for his contribution to developing and maintaining parks in Sector-58. Babita Singh and Purnima Rastogi were recognised for their participation in collecting floral waste from temples, while a Victora employee was honoured for plant conservation through the tree ambulance initiative.

Around 70 students and teachers of the Community College of Skill Development and J.C. Bose University participated in the plantation drive. Kewal Singh, SHO of Sector-58, Charan Dagar, Victora Foundation CSR Head Ajay Somvanshi, Nirankari Group MD G.D. Khurana, Rahul Technic Managing Director Jaikishan Bhatt and RBM Cherry Wire MD Rahul Bansal were among those present, along with other industrialists, academicians, social workers and Victora Industries officials.
