Jhajjar: Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Varsha Khanwal said that as part of the special intensive revision campaign of voter lists in the district, BLOs should expedite the digitization of counting forms on the app by collecting the forms from voters. The concerned AROs should regularly monitor this work and ensure completion within the stipulated timeframe.
DC Varsha Khanwal stated that this special campaign is being conducted to make voter lists more accurate and up-to-date. Booth-level officers are continuously going door-to-door to reach out to voters to ensure the correct details of all eligible citizens are included in the voter list. This phase of the campaign focuses on getting voters to fill out the counting forms and digitizing them. The DC urged all voters to submit the counting forms distributed during the counting campaign to the BLO immediately after filling in the required information. If any voter has not yet submitted their counting form to the BLO, they should do so immediately.

The DC directed all EROs and supervisors involved in the SIR process to ensure that the voter enumeration forms received from BLOs are immediately digitized on the app, ensuring the successful completion of the Special Intensive Revision Campaign within the stipulated timeframe. He stated that the digitization process will enable more transparent and accurate verification of names, addresses, age, and other details in the voter list. This will ensure accurate records of eligible voters’ names and accelerate the SIR campaign.
