New Delhi, June 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted the achievements of his government over the past 12 years, stating that the period has been dedicated to strengthening public trust, accelerating development and improving the welfare of citizens across the country.

In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister said the government’s efforts have been guided by the principle of “Nation First” and supported by the blessings of 140 crore Indians. He noted that significant emphasis has been placed on empowering youth, women and farmers through various development and welfare initiatives.

Modi said the country’s transformation over the past decade has been visible across multiple sectors, including infrastructure development and digital innovation, which have enhanced India’s global standing and created new opportunities for growth.

The Prime Minister emphasized that continuous efforts in governance and public service have helped build a stronger foundation for inclusive development. He added that several initiatives aimed at improving connectivity, expanding digital access and promoting socio-economic welfare have contributed to the country’s progress.

Reaffirming the government’s long-term vision, Modi said the journey towards achieving the goal of a developed India, or “Viksit Bharat,” would continue through a focus on service, good governance and prosperity.

He expressed confidence that sustained reforms, citizen participation and development-oriented policies would help the nation move closer to its aspirations of becoming a developed economy in the coming decades.

The remarks were made as the government marked 12 years of its tenure, highlighting key achievements and initiatives undertaken during the period across various sectors of governance and public welfare.
