While there is still no official confirmation about his return to the playing XI, indications from the franchise suggest the former captain could accompany the squad to Lucknow.

Dhoni has remained away from competitive action this season because of a calf injury, leaving fans eagerly waiting for his comeback. The latest development from the Chennai camp has now reignited speculation across social media platforms.

According to information shared by Chennai Super Kings CEO Kashi Viswanathan, the franchise has arranged around 60 flight bookings for the Lucknow trip, and one reservation reportedly belongs to Dhoni. The update has fueled hopes that the legendary cricketer may rejoin the squad during the crucial phase of the tournament.

Although CSK officials have avoided confirming whether Dhoni is fit enough to play, his possible presence with the team has already created a huge buzz among cricket fans.

Earlier in the season, Dhoni had also traveled with the squad during away fixtures in Hyderabad and Mumbai despite not featuring in matches.

Meanwhile, concerns continue to grow around Hardik Pandya and his availability for Mumbai Indians.
