Mumbai, May 12, 2026: India formally inaugurated the Kimberley Process Intersessional Meeting 2026 in Mumbai, bringing together international delegates, industry leaders, and observers to discuss the future of responsible natural diamond trade under India’s leadership.
Chairing the prestigious global event, Kimberley Process Chair 2026 Suchindra Misra underscored the significant role of the certification mechanism in promoting peace, securing livelihoods, and ensuring the integrity of legitimate diamond markets worldwide. He stressed the importance of reinforcing transparency, expanding international cooperation, and adapting the framework to meet evolving global challenges.
