CM chairs District Grievances Redressal Committee meeting at Gurugram, 12 out of 16 Complaints Resolved on the Spot

Swift Justice ensured through ‘Samadhan Shivir’ Camps: 30,000 out of 40,000 Complaints Resolved – Chief Minister

New Delhi, December 17— Haryana Chief Minister,  Nayab Singh Saini underlined that public service is the very foundation of good governance and directed officers to ensure that every citizen approaching government offices with a grievance returns with dignity and satisfaction. He emphasized that prompt, transparent and sensitive redressal of public complaints is not merely an administrative duty but a moral responsibility that must be accorded top priority.

The Chief Minister was chairing the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting in Gurugram on Wednesday. Industry and Commerce Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi MLA, Smt. Bimla Chaudhary, Sohna MLA, Tejpal Tanwar, and Gurugram MLA,  Mukesh Sharma were also present during the meeting.

A total of 16 complaints were taken up during the meeting, of which the Chief Minister resolved 12 cases on the spot. Directions were issued to keep the remaining four matters pending until the next meeting. The Chief Minister further directed the officers concerned to submit detailed status reports for these cases.

Swift Justice Through Samadhan Shivir Camps

Highlighting the government’s commitment to speedy grievance redressal, the Chief Minister said that regular Samadhan Shivir camps are being organized every Monday and Thursday at district and sub-division levels. He informed that around 40,000 complaints have been received through these camps so far, out of which nearly 30,000 have already been successfully resolved.

He further stated that out of 1.42 lakh complaints received directly by him, approximately 1.35 lakh have been disposed of.

The Chief Minister said that grievances registered on the CM Window portal are also being addressed expeditiously, and only those cases remain pending which are sub judice or involve family disputes requiring resolution through legal procedures.

Inquiry ordered against Jatoli Mandi PACS Manager

Taking serious note of a complaint from Chhilarki village in the Pataudi area, the Chief Minister directed a detailed inquiry against the manager of Jatoli Mandi PACS. The complainant alleged that farmers face significant difficulties in obtaining fertilizers due to the manager’s working style, along with complaints of unsatisfactory behavior and arbitrary practices in fertilizer distribution.

The Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to conduct a fair and impartial inquiry and submit the report to the Deputy Commissioner at the earliest.

Dhanwapur Underpass Repair to Be Completed Within 15 Days

During the meeting, the issue of water seepage and waterlogging at the Dhanwapur railway underpass, causing inconvenience to commuters, was brought to the Chief Minister’s notice. He directed the concerned departments to complete the repair work within the next 15 days to ensure smooth and safe movement for the public.

He also directed the officers to take preventive measures so that such problems do not recur in the future, thereby sparing citizens from repeated inconvenience.

Directions issued to Improve Sewerage, Sanitation and Power Systems

The Chief Minister directed Municipal Corporation officers to ensure that there are no broken sewer covers or incidents of sewer overflow anywhere in the city. He emphasized regular monitoring of the sewerage system to prevent inconvenience or accidents.

He also directed the officers to further enhance cleanliness standards by focusing on regular sanitation drives, effective waste management, and maintaining a clean urban environment. Additionally, the power department was directed to ensure that electricity poles do not obstruct roads or pathways, posing risks to public movement. The Chief Minister stressed the need for inter-departmental coordination with citizen convenience as the top priority.

Action on Illegal Encroachments on Green Belt Land in Gwalapahari

The Chief Minister took serious cognizance of illegal encroachments on green belt land reserved under the master plan in Gwalapahari village. He directed officials from the Public Works Department and the Municipal Corporation to jointly conduct on-site demarcation to ascertain the factual position before initiating further action.

He made it clear that encroachment on government land—especially green belts meant for public use—will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict action will be taken as per rules if illegal occupation is confirmed.
