Social Welfare Minister listens to public grievances in Deep Vihar and issues directives for development works

New Delhi: 23 June : Minister for Social Welfare, SC/ST/OBC Welfare, Elections and Cooperation, Ravinder Indraj Singh, conducted a field visit to Deep Vihar in Bawana Assembly constituency on Monday to review public grievances. During the inspection, he instructed the concerned departments to immediately begin essential works and to prepare and implement plans to complete other works within set timelines.

Senior officials from the District Magistrate’s office, Irrigation and Flood Control Department, DSIIDC, Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Delhi Jal Board (Maintenance and Project), Zonal Revenue Officer and the Delhi Development Authority were present during the inspection.

Shri Ravinder Indraj directed that urgent works such as drainage of water logging, ensuring adequate water supply, repairing damaged pipelines, and construction and repair of roads should commence without delay. He emphasized that all departments must work in close coordination to provide timely relief to residents and to ensure the development of the area.

The Social Welfare Minister further stated that all works must be of high quality and completed within stipulated deadlines. He underlined that resolving public issues should be treated as a priority and that regular monitoring of the progress must be ensured.
