Rewari , 27 July , 2024 — Former Chief Minister Chaudhary Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited Rewari today for a workers’ conference to thank his supporters. He was accompanied by the party’s State President Chaudhary Udaybhan and former Gurgaon Lok Sabha candidate Raj Babbar.
The conference saw a large turnout of Congress workers from across the Rewari district, with ticket contenders from all three assembly constituencies mobilizing crowds. However, Sadhu Singh Bawal, a senior Congress leader from the Bawal constituency and a strong ticket contender, demonstrated significant strength by drawing a massive crowd and showcasing his influence in front of the former Chief Minister.
Bawal had worked diligently in recent days to gather a large crowd, personally inviting villagers door-to-door. The crowd was notably large, with a significant number of women in attendance.
During the event, Bawal stated that a “Congress wave” is sweeping across Haryana, predicting that the party will win at least 80 seats and form the government. He highlighted the public’s dissatisfaction with the BJP government’s anti-people policies and how they are beginning to remember the positive governance under Congress. Bawal promised that once Congress is back in power, the state will enter an era of prosperity and development.
